Building Democratic Power Since 2016

States Win is a grassroots organization that has grown to 70,000+ volunteers and 78 teams and affiliates nationwide that aims to build enduring Democratic power in state legislatures across the country to improve people’s lives. States Win has endorsed candidates in 185 races across 18 states, 167 of whom have won, and we have raised $8.1 million in small-dollar donations directly for our candidates and reached out to more than 7.9 million voters through phones, texts, postcards, and door knocks.

States Win CA Peninsula is Highly Effective, Active (and Fun!)

States Win CA Peninsula supports top-priority Democratic State Legislative candidates each election cycle by fundraising, phone banking, and postcarding. In 2025, we raised $170K, held 13 fundraisers, sent 18,229 postcards, and made more than 60,000 phone calls to voters.

We are the biggest fundraising chapter of States Win in the country, having raised over $1.2 million since 2017 for our candidates, States Win and ground grassroots groups we have supported through State Bridges. We are famous for our fundraising parties, remarkable phone bankers, huge postcard writing team, and friendly, enthusiastic community.
